OUR APPROACH

How all our engagements are structured

Regardless of which engagement a founder chooses, the underlying approach is consistent: we prepare carefully, hold the conversation without pressure, and produce a written output that captures the thinking from the session. The differences between engagements are in scope and depth, not in the quality of attention.

We work alongside founders rather than in their place. This means we do not make decisions, produce strategies, or tell founders what to do. We create the conditions for better thinking, then document what that thinking produced. The decisions and directions remain with the founder.

ENGAGEMENT 01

Early-Stage Review

A considered conversation with early-stage founders who have made a start and would appreciate a thoughtful external perspective before their next set of decisions. We spend time understanding your current picture — the problem you are working on, the shape of your early customers, the state of your working capital — without rushing to conclusions.

  • Written reflection: observations, questions worth sitting with, possible directions
  • Working margin notes included in the written output

Tailored support for founders working out how their offering might find its way to its first substantial group of users. We work alongside you rather than in your place, holding structured sessions to think through who the offering is for, how they currently solve the problem, and what path into the market feels both thoughtful and honest.

ENGAGEMENT 03

Founder Advisory Conversation

A confidential session for founders navigating a specific early-stage question: a co-founder conversation, a first hire, a difficult pricing decision. Before the session we exchange a short written brief so that the time together is well spent. The session itself lasts ninety minutes and is held without pressure or agenda beyond the question you bring.

  • One 90-minute confidential advisory session

  • Option to book subsequent sessions at the same fee

Everything shared in an engagement stays within it. Written confidentiality agreements available on request.

Clear invoicing

Invoiced before the engagement begins. Malaysian Ringgit by bank transfer. No variable charges or surprises.

No conflicts

We do not hold concurrent engagements with competing ventures. Conflicts identified and disclosed before work begins.

Honest feedback

We ask for feedback after every engagement and read it carefully. It shapes how we develop the work over time.
